Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound seafood (shrimp, scallops, calamari, shellfish, or a mix)
- 2 tablespoons butter (1 tbsp for seafood, 1 tbsp for sauce)
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Black pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the seafood: Rinse and pat dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Cook the seafood: Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seafood and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo sauce: In the same pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously over low heat.
- Add Parmesan cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan, mixing until the sauce thickens.
- Combine and serve: Return the cooked seafood to the pan, tossing it in the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes before serving.
- Garnish (optional): Top with extra Parmesan or a sprinkle of black pepper.
Notes
- Don’t overcook seafood—it only needs a few minutes per side.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of heavy cream to thin it out.
- For extra richness, use grass-fed butter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
- Best served hot and fresh, as reheating may cause the sauce to separate.
