- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the broccoli bites.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or a cheese blend for a different flavor profile.
